De tweede Batman, The Black Knight (2008 ), is nog niet uit of er zijn al plannen voor een derde Batman, én volgens de eerste geruchten zou Catwoman haar intrede doen in Batman 3. De film Catwoman (2004) moet zonder enige twijfel de zwakste comic zijn uit de geschiedenis. Ja, zelfs nog slechter dan pakweg Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), Batmat & Robin (1997), Hulk (2003), Daredevil (2003), Elektra (2005) of Barb Wire (1996) - en deze films deden al zo goed hun best om zichzelf belachelijk te maken. Maar dat het personage zeker wel charisma had in haar strakke pakje bewees Michelle Pfeiffer eerder in Batman Returns (1992). En op Cinemablend stond het volgende te lezen:
Even more exciting than the idea that we may get the Joker in more than one movie is the identity of another villain who may be in Batman 3. According to our source, "it could also include a certain female feline as well." Bear in mind that the script for Batman 3 hasn’t been written yet, so it’s all just talk at this stage. But if this really is something Nolan is kicking around for a future Batman project, then don’t be surprised to see a few hints at the future arrival of Catwoman in The Dark Knight.
