Hij wilt zeggen dat het bijna allemaal pop-punk is, zo van die Amerikaanse groepjes die over hun lief zitten zingen enz, en daar kan ik alleen maar mee akkoord gaan. Hij beschouwt het dus niet als punk. Persoonlijk doe ik niet zo mee aan 'dit is punk en dat niet', maar man, die groepen voldoen niet aan de standaarden voor wat ik als punk beschouw.

Wat u punk noemt is in feite punkrock, zo waren de sex pistols punkrock net zoals the exploited, uk subs, vice squad, ... Tegenwoordig is er geen tot zeer weinig punkrock. Maar 't is een eindeloze discussie die ik niet ga blijven voeren! voor mij is punkrock afkomstig uit de jaren 70/80! Want eerlijk gezegd, vertaal het woord punk en vergelijk dat dan is met de hedendaagse 'punkrock' en de goeie oude punkrock, zal toch wel een groot verschil zijn zekers! Maar aangezien veel mensen mij zowat beu aan het worden zijn zal ik stoppen erover.
